Rebates & Claiming
Private health care customers can claim their rebates on the spot. We have a HICAPS terminal available at the clinic, or we can use our paperless HaltH system. You will simply swipe your card and only pay the “gap” amount. The exact rebate depends on your specific fund and level of extras cover.
Yes. You pay for the pack upfront, and we process your private health rebate session by session as you use them. This is in line with Australian health fund guidelines. That means you claim the rebate at each visit, exactly as you would for a standard appointment.
We accept Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plans (formerly known as Enhanced Primary Care or EPC plans) with a referral from your GP.
We offer a gap-free initial consultation under this scheme. For subsequent sessions, the full fee is due at the time of the consultation, but you will be able to claim a significant rebate back from Medicare directly on the spot. Please note, beyond the initial consult, this is not a fully bulk-billed service.
We accept both WorkCover Queensland and motor vehicle (CTP) claims. Provided you have a valid, approved claim number, Abound Physio will bill the insurance company directly, meaning you will not have to pay anything out of pocket at the time of your consultation.
We are proud to support our veterans. DVA claims are accepted for eligible Gold and White Card holders. Provided you have your DVA card and a valid D904 referral from your GP, Abound Physio will bill DVA directly, so you will have zero out-of-pocket expenses.
