But what sets up apart?
One, you’ll be treated by an experienced physiotherapist with a proven track record of helping NDIS participants achieve their goals. We love new graduates, but you won’t be seen by one here.
Two, we are a small, boutique and patient-tailored clinic which means you will not be lost in the crowd!

Questions
The NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) helps Australians aged 7-65 with a permanent disability live more independently and achieve their goals. It provides funding for support based on your individual needs, helping you participate in your community and live the life you want. Your NDIS plan is all about you. It’s based on your individual needs and goals, and it provides funding for the support that will help you get where you want to be. The NDIS is Australia’s first national Scheme for people with disability. It provides funding directly to individuals. First you have to see if you are eligible.
There is an Eligibility Checklist available on the NDIS government website. It will ask you if you are:
1) Aged between 7 and 65,
2) Living in Australia and an Australian resident,
3) In need of of usual support from a person because of a permanent and significant disability
4) Using special equipment because of a permanent and significant disability
5) Needing some supports now to reduce your future needs
Funding for children under 7 comes under early childhood NDIS funding; see here. If you think you are eligible, perhaps it’s time to apply. Can’t find the answer that you’re looking for? Check out the NDIS website for more details.
The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is responsible for the roll out of the NDIS. They make decisions about whether someone is eligible to become an NDIS participant and, if so, how much funding they will receive. This is based on legislation called the NDIS Act 2013 which sets out what supports and services are considered reasonable and necessary for the NDIS to fund. Find out more here.
The first step is to book online and then work with your physiotherapist to create a service agreement. It’s a written agreement that is created at your initial appointment. It outlines your plan to help you achieve your goals.
The agreement includes how many treatments and the total costs. You both will sign the agreement and a copy will be sent to your plan manager (if you have one).
During your initial 60 minute appointment, we’ll do a thorough assessment of you, your medical history and your condition. This appointment is also where you fill out the service agreement.
Once you’ve completed this initial appointment and have signed the service agreement, you can start on your physiotherapy journey. There may be a lot more talking during this initial session – we need to get to know you (and we also have a bit of paperwork to get through!)
If you are self-managed you’ll need to pay in full for your appointment and then take your invoice to NDIS to claim back. If you are currently using a fund manager, we invoice them directly.
